Project 52, Weeks 40-46 {Personal Photography Project}

Got a little backlogged with posting my Project 52 images again. Sorry about that. So to get caught up, here are weeks 40 through 46. Not all images fit the theme literally, so use your imagination a bit. LOL  For the first one, my grandmother’s new kitten, Precious. She’s quite a little ball of energy. LOL Week 40, theme SMALL, shot details: taken with my Droid 2 phone, auto flash.

The days leading up to Hurricane Sandy, the boys and I spent raking in an attempt to get up as much of the leaves as we could before the rain. This is our youngest having a blast (and clearly not raking like he was supposed to be doing). Week 44, theme MEMORIES, shot details: handheld, no flash, 70-200L at 135mm, ISO 320, 1/320 at F2.8.

The day before Hurricane Sandy made landfall in NYC, this was the morning sky outside our home. We are about 4 hours northwest of where the storm hit, but still experienced some wind and light rain. Week 45, theme CHANGE, shot details: handheld, no flash, 70-200L at 70mm, ISO 1600, 1/320 at F2.8.

And finally the theme for week 46 is WORDS.  This is a great game that I play daily.  Shot details: 24-70L at 32mm, handheld, no flash, ISO 800, 1/200th at F2.8.

And now we’re all caught up with only 6 more weeks to go to finish up the year.  😀

About Kim Hill

I’m passionate about my work and helping women feel comfortable in front of my lens. I want women to feel confident and sexy regardless of age or size. All women are beautiful and I'm here to help them see the beauty in themselves and the boudoir photographic experience is one step in that direction. I am dedicated to bringing a high-quality experience to the boudoir portrait session. My goal is to offer a fun yet relaxing environment where a woman can let down her guard, allowing that inner sparkle to shine. I’ve been a photographer for more than 25 years now. I started as a young child with my parents' 110 film camera, moved on to study photography in college, interned with a wedding photographer for a couple of years and then struck out on my own. I've been doing general portraits since 1998 and boudoir work since 2009. In addition to boudoir, I also offer high school senior portraits, fashion inspired sessions, and business executive head shots.
