Christmas in July Sale – LAST DAY!

Resources 4 Photographers at A Cherry on Top

It’s official!!  I’ve just opened my section of the shop at A Cherry on Top.  Currently I have layered holiday cards on sale 25% off this weekend only.  Other new items available now are 5×7 vertical card templates, 5×7 horizontal card templates, Mix & Match 12×12 book templates, and a slew of label elements.

Soon, all of my artistic grunge overlays and photoshop actions will also be available here.  And I’m currently working on some business forms and starter sets which I’m hoping to have done by next week.

The “S” Brothers {Central New York Photographer}

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing three adorable brothers.  You may recall I photographed the baby when he was about a month old.  Well, he is now 5 months old and such a ham.  Time sure flies!  Here he is sitting in the tree with his brothers at their grandma's home.  Throughout the session, I took a few minutes to snuggle and love on little Mason.  Gotta get that baby loving whever I get a chance.

Moving-Notice

Hey all.  🙂  Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I am in the process of moving a few product lines to a new shop.  So if you are looking for my PSE actions, Pro Photo actions, or Artistic Grunge Overlays, please note that they are no longer available in the shop at Scrapbook-Elements. All of my other scrapbooking products will remain where they are.

Right now, I’m in the process of repackaging everything and they will be available again in early August.  If you absolutely must have some of these items before I get them in the new shop, please contact me directly and we’ll work something out.  My email address is in the upper left corner of the blog.

The news of where these products are moving to will be announced within the next week or two.  So stay tuned!!

4th of July Festivities

Got bokeh? {Resources 4 Photographers}

What is bokeh? Bokeh is a Japanese term for the subjective aesthetic quality of out-of-focus points of light in a photographic image. No matter what brand of camera/lenses you use, you can still mimick bokeh during the processing in photoshop by using these bokeh brushes.

Water Fun Day {Central New York Photographer}

Yesterday was our oldest son's Water Fun Day at school.  I stopped by to take some pics of the kids having fun and had quite a good time myself.  :)  They had field games which included a wet sponge toss and cups of water being tossed at the teammates.  And then they played on the playground equipment and had some lunch.  Then, the finale was the huge water slide that the gym teachers made out of wrestling mats positioned on the hill near the playground.  Oh the fun they had!!  I took about 400 images of the two classes – kinda shocked at the volume.  LOL  After narrowing it down to 200, I created a slide show and put it to music so that David could take it to school to share with his friends.  Speaking of music, if you are looking for some fun music to use for your own personal kid projects, check out THIS SITE.

Senior Reps – Last Chance!!

Only 4 days left!!  I know most of you are not even thinking about senior portraits yet, but the yearbook deadline will be here faster than you think.  Most schools require photos to be submitted by the end of September.

Baseball Game {Central New York Photographer}

David's team played tonight and it was the perfect time to take some photos as it was overcast, so there were no harsh shadows to deal with.  The kids had a great time….played two innings with lots of good hits and catches by both teams.
