A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with a young woman who was interested in having a designer book created for her boyfriend. They currently live about an hour apart and she thought it would be a terrific birthday gift, and a way to help keep them connected while away from each other.
She turned me onto a whole different world that I didn’t even knew existed….kicks and chicks! Do you know what that is? It’s girls who are totally into sneakers…not just any sneakers, but the high end ones like Air Jordans and the like. It was really interesting to meet someone who is not just a girly girl, but a tomboy too. So of course we had to include her favorite sneakers in some of the images that day. Here are just a few – one for the girly girl and one for the sneaker chick. Pretty fun!

I’ve been a photographer for more than 25 years now. I started as a young child with my parents' 110 film camera, moved on to study photography in college, interned with a wedding photographer for a couple of years and then struck out on my own. I've been doing general portraits since 1998 and boudoir work since 2009. In addition to boudoir, I also offer high school senior portraits, fashion inspired sessions, and business executive head shots.
